“My mom just liked the flowers a lot. He would just come home with them – random surprises.”
The note on the card references the first song the couple danced to at their wedding: Kenny Chesney’s “Had Me From Hello.”
“He then heard this song, ‘Always Gonna Be You,’ also by Kenny Chesney, and sent it to my mom and said, ‘This is our finale,'” she tweeted.
She then asked her Twitter followers to send her pictures of dogs because she was feeling sad. Fortunately, her followers obliged.
“I just want the best for my parents and for them both to be happy,” she said.
