Devoted Son Always Brings His Mom Snacks in Bed, But He Can’t Help But Share Her Strange Reaction Every Time

Nick Avallone loves his mom, but he doesn’t love her nightly routine.

While home for the summer, Nick’s mom, Eleanor, would ask him to get her a snack before bed. But when he returned, she was usually already asleep.

Nick, who found the situation both slightly annoying and completely hilarious, took some photos.

Eleanor dozed off “consistently enough that I had to make a post,” Nick told BuzzFeed.

In a style similar to the one used by pet owners who hilariously shame their naughty pets, Nick took a photo of his mom sleeping while his outstretched hand holds a cup of snacks she asked for. He added a sign that reads, “I ask my son for snacks then I fall asleep.” Then he shared pictures from a few different instances when his mom fell asleep before Nick came back with the food.

“I adore my mom beyond words, but I have to mom-shame her for always doing this to me,” he captioned the photos.

Fortunately, Eleanor found the entire situation quite funny and laughed when Nick told her that she’s always asleep when he comes back with food.

Now that school is starting, it looks like Nick’s off the hook, at least for a little while.
