This Gift Wrapping Hack Makes Covering Oddly Shaped Presents a Snap
We all know the struggle of trying to wrap an oddly shaped gift like a teddy bear or a toy truck. It usually ends up in a mess of paper and tape, but there’s a totally easy gift wrapping hack making the rounds on social media recently .
Blogger Lindsay Roggenbuck shared the simple trick on her TikTok page — and no, it doesn’t involve grabbing a gift bag. Instead, you basically make a bag out of wrapping paper with a few clever folds and a bit of ribbon.
Take a look at how she uses the genius technique to wrap a small stuffed animal:

It’s no surprise the gift wrapping hack has been viewed over four million times! The technique will definitely save us all headaches while tackling oddly shaped gifts, even on larger items. If you don’t want to use ribbon for the top, you can always seal it up the same way she shows for the bottom.
Aside from the technique itself, commenters were blown away by the tool she uses to glide across the wrapping paper instead of regular scissors. Roggenbuck explained that she’s had it for years, but couldn’t find the exact same one anymore. Luckily, we found a decently priced one that should get the job done just as well: Westcott Titanium Bonded Razor Paper Cutter (Buy on Amazon, $7.66).
But that’s not the only helpful tip Roggenbuck has for wrapping up gifts this holiday season. Take a look at how she tackles the classic (and oh-so frustrating) issue of not cutting quite enough wrapping paper:

All it took was a simple twist of the gift to make it fit perfectly! Just like the first clip, this one has millions of viewers who are no doubt relieved they no longer have to keep constantly hacking away at wrapping paper when they mis-measure.
Now you never have to dread these common wrapping woes — or make a run to grab gift bags instead.
