• 4 tablespoons powdered dishwasher detergent
• ½ cup vinegar
• Rag
• Small cleaning brush or toothbrush

Directions: 

1. Run hot water in your tub, filling it to about three inches above jets.
2. Add dishwasher detergent and vinegar.
3. Turn on jets, let run for 15 minutes.
4. Empty tub.
5. Fill it to same level again with cold water, run jets again for 15 minutes to rinse.
6. Use rag to wipe away remaining residue and small brush (or old toothbrush) to clean crevices of jets.

How Often To Clean a Jetted Tub

Because jetted tubs are more difficult and time-consuming to clean than a standard bathtub, they might not get cleaned as often. And the frequency of cleaning is really depending on how often you use the tub — Rapinchuk recommends doing a deep clean every one to three months if you use your tub a lot, and once or twice a year if you don’t.
