House Hasn’t Been Touched in Decades, so Real Estate Agent Boldly Decides to Sell ‘As Is’
Most houses for sale don’t get a lot of publicity. They get listed, seen, and bought–or languish in the limbo that often spells real-estate death. But the house on 3 Hickey Drive in Framingham, MA, is getting all sorts of attention this week from all over the world!
Why the fuss? The newly listed five-bedroom house is huge–and gorgeous (it even has a pool). But it’s hiding a secret. Inside, it’s a time capsule to the decade everyone loves to talk trash about. Even the real estate agent, Matt Cuddy of Century21, acknowledges its throwback nature.
The present owners moved in 20 years ago, but they preserved all the decor from the original owners. And they’re even willing to leave some of the furnishings behind if you decide to buy the house. (The price? $624,900).
So take a tour of this homage to the disco decade–and happy Throwback Thursday!
