Demi Moore Is In Recovery From an Accident

Demi Moore is missing her two front teeth. And while the actress’s photo of her absent pearly whites shocked everyone who saw it, the story behind how she lost them nearly left them speechless. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, she explained what happened to the audience.

“I sheared off my front teeth. I’d love to say it was skateboarding or something really kind of cool, but I think I think it’s something that’s important to share, because I think it’s literally, probably after heart disease, one of the biggest killers in in America, which is stress,” she said. “Stress sheared off my front teeth. But, in an effort to get ready for you, I wanted to make sure my teeth were in.”

Granted, her smile looked picture-perfect on TV that night. But check out the 0:47 mark in the video below, and you’ll see why the host called it one of the most “insane” things he’s ever seen.

As for how the teeth actually came out, Moore didn’t go into too much detail with Fallon. But she did admit that she “literally knocked it out” not too long ago.

“It was almost like it fell out and my warranty was up. I swear!” she said. “Thank God for modern dentistry. All of you who go out and practice modern dentistry—thank God!”

Moore had previously shared another story of one missing tooth back in 2010 on the Ellen Degeneres Show.

“I had a bad bite and knocked my own front tooth out, which basically fell out into my hand, and I just thought my warranty was up,” she said. “That was it.”
