She was 37 when she starred as Kevin Arnold’s mom, Norma, on family classic The Wonder Years. Now 65, she plays a regular character on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Marion Ross

Once beloved as Mrs. Cunningham on Happy Days, Ross has guest-starred on numerous TV shows and in small movie roles since then. Now 88, she has two grown children who also work in the TV business.

Michael Learned

She graced the small screen in the 1970s, when she played matriarch Olivia Walton on The Waltons. As recently as 2011, she was still acting in soap operas.

From 1985 to 1992, she played the sweet, maternal Maggie Seaver on Growing Pains. She later worked behind the camera, directing episodes of hit TV shows like Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.

A Tony-winning actress, she captured TV viewers’ attention in the 80s as uptight mom Angela Bower on Who’s the Boss, and today has a starring role on another hit show, Transparent.

Jo Marie Payton

On Family Matters, she played quick-witted mom Harriette Winslow. After leaving the show in 1997, she took on roles in a number of TV shows and movies, and still is working today.

Florence Henderson

As sunny mom of six Carol Brady on The Brady Bunch, Henderson became a household name. Sadly, she passed away in November 2016 after a long battle with heart disease.

Katey Sagal

Her turn as the sarcastic, offbeat matriarch Peg Bundy on Married With Children may have earned her a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but Sagal has had plenty of successful TV roles since, including her Golden-Globe winning performance in Sons of Anarchy.
