As Meghan Markle prepared to tie the knot with the love of her life, Prince Harry, we’d bet she had a million things running through her head. Fortunately, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding seemed to go off without a hitch — no embarrassing moments or funny royal wedding pictures have surfaced yet. Which makes us happy, because as we’ve gotten to know Meghan Markle and her family, we’ve grown to really like her and believe she truly is Harry’s soulmate. In fact, we feel like we know her so well, we have a good guess what she was thinking during her wedding.

Of course, some of Meghan’s wedding-day thoughts were probably similar to those of your average, non-royal-marrying bride: “I hope I don’t trip,” “Will he cry when he sees the dress?” “How do I go to the bathroom in this gown?” But others would certainly only apply to a royal wedding, such as, “Isn’t it sweet that thousands of strangers showed up to wish me well?”

For a bride, one of the most nerve-racking events during a wedding — and there are a lot of them — is walking down the aisle. Will your groom like the dress? Will he love the dress as much as you do?
