Most know Pam Anderson for her time on the hit show Baywatch. And while she sent pulses racing in her high-cut red bikini, the busty blonde is also a doting mother of two and a self-identified pet lover and activist. For more than two decades, Pamela Anderson and her voluminous bleached tresses and smokey eye makeup have been a staple on TV screens since her breakout role in Tim Allen’s Tool Time.

In 2014, she chopped off her locks, telling New York Magazine’s The Cut: “My hair was so much a part of my personality and all my photo shoots. I hid behind my hair. And then, I just decided I was okay with myself. To have short hair and really show my face is even more revealing than anything. It’s a statement—not to everyone else, more to myself. I’m just ready to get out from behind my hair and be myself.”
Today, her dramatic makeup and stick-thin brows are gone, and in their place Pammie has reintroduced her soft natural beachy waves and an almost makeup-free face. As she prepares to turn the big 5-0, we hope she’ll thrill us again with an over-the-top birthday bash.
