Butterfinger Brownies Are the Delicious Brainchild of Hostess and Nestlé
Is it just us, or did Hostess and Nestlé just team up to change the brownie game forever? Don’t get us wrong, we love a plain ol’ chocolate baked good. But now that Butterfinger is involved in the mix, it just may change the way we look at the beloved classic dessert from now on.
Butterfinger brownies are now available in stores nationwide, in both multipack and single serving formats. The Hostess-Nestle mashup boasts rich chocolate squares, covered in a fudge coating and sprinkled with Butterfinger pieces. Um, we don’t know about you, but our mouths are watering already! But the in-depth description from Hostess reps makes it sound even more tantalizing.
“As we continue our chocolate-peanut butter innovation streak, the brownie segment brings even more opportunities to get creative with our expanding portfolio,” Hostess’ Chief Marketing Officer Burke Raine said in a statement. “By pairing the ‘crispety, crunchety, peanut-buttery’ taste of Butterfinger with our indulgent and delicious brownies, we are bringing two powerhouses together.”

It goes without saying that peanut butter and chocolate is one of the best flavor combinations known to man (as evidence by Reese’s peanut butter cups). But the extra crunch and crispiness from the Butterfinger pieces on top of the brownies must add a whole new depth of flavor before the sweet treat melts in your mouth.
With so many great new desserts coming out before the holiday season (like Oreo candy canes, for instance), there’s never been a better excuse to rush to the store to stock up on the delicious goodies. And for these new Butterfinger brownies, we’re hoping to be first in line to snatch them up!
