Healthy Recipes That Will Make Your Tastebuds Say ‘Thank You’
The hype of the New Year may be long gone by now, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to make a lifestyle change that’s going to benefit you and your family in the long run.
March marks National Nutrition Month, an annual campaign created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. This year’s theme is titled “Go Further With Food,” which means actively trying to start the day off right (by eating an “adult” breakfast — sorry, doughnut fans!) and ending it on a good note (read: no takeout food).
To help you get started, we’ve rounded up with a few recipes (aka healthy alternatives to the junk you normally eat) that are so tasty you’ll wonder why you hadn’t switched sooner. From hearty breakfast options like Honey Almond Butter Mini Granola Cups to fresh lunch ideas like Salmon Cakes with Cilantro Lime Sauce, we have a recipe to fit even the pickiest of eaters.
