“Lego Dad” Parenting Struggles Are Funny Because They’re True

If you’ve ever felt like no one truly gets your parenting struggles, have no fear. Lego Dad is not only here to understand them — but also to keep you smiling all along the way.

Lego Dad is the latest parenting-themed Instagram page attracting thousands of followers because the posts are oh-so-relatable about both the highs and lows of parenting. Oh, and they’re all in Lego form.

Yes, Lego Dad has created not only a Lego alter-ego for himself, but also for his wife, dog, and two kids, ages 13 years old and 7 months old.

The New Jersey-based father, who chooses to remain anonymous, features just about every parenting challenge from potty training to putting the kiddos to bed. And the posts are just so true to life, which is probably what makes them so funny.

“The kids are clearly the inspiration behind all the memes,” Lego Dad said in an exclusive interview with UsWeekly.com. “I think my oldest is starting to get a little embarrassed by it all. After all, he is in middle school.”

Even better, Lego Dad’s wife also gets in on the fun whenever she gets a chance to post to her Facebook page called Lego Mom.

“She doesn’t post very often because she travels a lot on business,” Lego Dad said. “I think she uses it to troll me and keep my head on straight.”

Sounds like a fun family to us! And to the middle schooler who’s embarrassed by the posts — someday you might look back on this and laugh as hard as we are. For now, behave!
