Hostess Brands Recalls Holiday White Peppermint Twinkies

View gallery

Hostess Brands has issued a voluntary recall of their special holiday Twinkies due to concerns about salmonella contamination.

Known for its iconic snacks, Hostess issued the recall after Bloomer Chocolate Co., the company that manufactures the milk powder used in the Twinkies’ coating, recalled the powder.

No illnesses have been reported, and Hostess has not found any evidence of salmonella during its tests, but it’s certainly better to be safe than sorry.
