Tyra Banks’ Son York Already Speaks Three Languages
In a new interview, Tyra Banks revealed her two-year-old son is already speaking three different languages. It seems York is talented just like his famous mom.
“He’s amazing,” Tyra, 44, shared with Us Weekly before adding that’s he’s “talking up a storm.” Apparently, the little boy “speaks Norwegian, Spanish, and English!”
The America’s Next Top Model star previously welcomed York with her now ex-boyfriend Erik Asla), in January 2016 through a surrogate. “The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin,” she revealed at the time. “As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.” The couple allegedly split in October after five years together.
Today, Tyra focuses on educating her son about the value of working hard. “I am a very hardworking momma and hopefully a good example to my son that you know momma works really, really hard, and that’s how we have these things and we can travel and get on airplane, airplane, airplane, to go and see the world,” she previously told E! News.
Tyra continued, “But at the same time, with my hard work, my son often comes with me, he’s here today! So I want him to see mommy’s world and to understand what she does, so that when he’s away from me he’s like, ‘Oh mommy’s with camera’ or ‘Is mommy in business suit meeting today?’ I want him to understand that and so I think he’s learning — slowly.”
She’s clearly loving being a mom, and York seems like such a smart and perfect kid, so does the TV star want more children in the future? “We shall see,” she said in December.
