‘Today’ Show Hosts Laugh at Each Other’s Hilarious Throwback Photos

Talk about a blast from the past! Thanks to Instagram’s viral #ThrowbackThursday hashtag, everyone loves sharing vintage pics of themselves online — and the TODAY show crew is no different! During a previous show, former co-anchor Matt Lauer and current anchor Savannah Guthrie treated their loyal viewers to a collection of the TODAY gang’s high school yearbook photos.

“Look at Savannah, that is so Sixteen Candles!” Carson Daly said as the photos flashed onscreen. “Look at my corsage, it’s like a conifer, it’s like a whole tree!” Savannah chimed in as her co-hosts began to giggle. “Carson, you look like a sitcom star from the ’80s,” Al Roker said. Natalie Morales added, “Your hair is the same!”

New co-host Hoda Kotb also joined in on the throwback fun by posting a vintage snapshot of herself on Instagram at the time with the caption, “I know it’s not tbt but since @bravoandy is talking #thenandnow I thought…”

Although the TODAY cast has gone through many changes lately due to Matt’s abrupt firing, the current crew includes Savannah, Al, Carson, Hoda, Kathie Lee Gifford, Dylan Dreyer, Jenna Bush Hager, Megyn Kelly, Willie Geist, and Sheinelle Jones. Natalie now serves as the TODAY West Coast anchor.
