The first-time Oscar nominee stole the show not only for her incredible role, but in her crystal-embellished gown. Demi Moore, 62, stunned in a floor-length custom Giorgio Armani Privé dress, completely covered in crystals, with a pleated hip design and plunging neckline. The look cascaded into a dramatic train, while Moore kept it classic with her usual hairstyle of long, dark waves. The Substance actress truly had a look to remember.

Halle Berry

Halle Berry, 58, certainly shimmered like a Mirrorball at the 97th annual Academy Awards. The star, too, got the sparkling memo, donning a fitted silver gown made with 7,000 mirrored crystals. The gown featured a corset with a mermaid-style skirt, which flowed into a train in the back. Berry kept the shine going with sparkling jewelry, while maintaining a sleek, short hairstyle.

Michelle Yeoh

The Wicked star stayed sleek in a cobalt blue strapless Balenciaga gown. Michelle Yeoh, 62, turned heads with her look, which sported a dramatic train and featured minimal jewels, keeping it classy with a diamond necklace. Yeoh also wore her hair slicked back.

Zoe Saldaña

The Oscar winner, Zoe Saldaña, stunned in a red wine-colored gown with three folds in the fabric, falling in line with the bubble dress look. The top was a mesh, crystal-covered bandeau, paired with sheer black opera gloves and a diamond Cartier choker featuring an emerald. Saldaña, 46, wore her hair back in loose waves. Later in the night, she wore another stunning look as she posed with her Oscar, which was a simple black long-sleeve top with a short, pink ruffled skirt that fell into a long train in the back.

Mindy Kaling

The 45-year-old actress, Mindy Kaling, whose new show Running Point recently premiered on Netflix, kept with the sparkling theme. Kaling wore an Oscar de la Renta gown, which featured a halter neckline. She wore her hair in a slicked-back pony and paired it all with sparkling earrings. 

Fernanda Torres

Fernanda Torres, 59, who was nominated for her role in I’m Still Here, was sure to let everyone know she was there in a black Chanel dress that reportedly took 450 hours to create. The top was a mesh and guipure long sleeve, which fell into a black silk chiffon skirt. The dress also featured feathers halfway down.

Goldie Hawn

Goldie Hawn, 79, posed with her partner Kurt Russell in a butter yellow silk dress, which was covered in jewels and featured a sweetheart neckline. She covered her shoulders with a matching yellow shawl and paired the look with a chain link necklace with a pendant.

Penelope Cruz

Penelope Cruz, 50, too wore a Chanel gown that took many hours to create. 254 hours later, the actress had a silk chiffon look with a ruched bodice and a line of sparkly buttons down the middle. The dress also had a sheer cape, which was attached to the straps.
