The performance was a small part of an exciting celebration of the fifth anniversary of Little Shop of Horrors, as the off-Broadway revival first began back in 2019. While the celebration included the now-viral performance by Hyland and Feldman, spectators also watched as they unveiled a sculpture of Audrey II in Times Square. Other familiar faces from the theater world took part in commemoration as well, exciting fans who watched.

Their exciting performance showcased their talents well, and many fans have taken to the comments to express their excitement at seeing these two in action. “I know people are shocked sarah hyland has pipes but I always think of her singing ‘midnight train to georgia’ on modern family ik it was for a joke but she was BELTING,” said one user, referring to a performance Hyland gave on the series she starred on from 2009 to 2020. “I used to watch little shop of horrors all the time as a kid, still one of my fave movies and soundtracks!” commented another.

Who are Sarah Hyland and Andrew Barth Feldman?

Sarah Hyland joined the Little Shop of Horrors off-Broadway cast back in May, and has been shining ever since. While most know her for her role as the ditzy-yet-hilarious Haley Dunphy on the popular sitcom Modern Family, not many know about the impressive vocals that the 33-year-old actress has been hiding.

Everyone that’s a part of Little Shop — the crew, the creative team, all of the actors — are just like, the kindest, nicest, most talented people,” Hyland said on an appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark as reported by PEOPLE. “And then to be doing it alongside Andrew Barth Feldman who is a genius and he’s so talented. I can’t talk more about it than I already have. We just have so much fun together and I’m having a blast.”

On the other hand, Andrew Barth Feldman’s career has existed mainly in the theater sphere, taking an interest in musical theater during his youth and partaking in various school productions growing up. In 2019, he took on the role of Evan Hansen in Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen, but he is perhaps most recognized for his 2023 role in No Hard Feelings opposite Jennifer Lawrence.
