Roseanne Barr Had a Nasty Fall That Sent Her to the Hospital

Actress Roseanne Barr was in San Francisco visiting her son when she had an unexpected accident.

Barr was in Golden Gate Park when she slipped and fell, breaking her kneecap in three places. Fortunately, her sister was with her and she “took control of the situation,” Barr tweeted.

She thanked the “very kind & wonderful” San Francisco paramedics and shared that she would be on crutches for three months.

Barr hasn’t shared whether the fall was a result of her macular degeneration, which she revealed in an interview last year.
