Kate Middleton Steps Out with Prince William and Pays a Beautiful Tribute to Princess Diana
Kate Middleton and Prince William are certified professionals at attending events, and their latest engagement has proved why they’re so good at what they do.
In a spectacle keenly awaited by royal watchers, the husband and wife dream team have stepped out together for the first time since their whirlwind tour of Pakistan in October.
And while the overseas trip wasn’t that long ago, we certainly missed seeing these two together, so their recent engagement in London was all the more special.
The pair was out and about to see the launch of the National Emergencies Trust, which is an independent charity that helps to provide emergency responses to disasters in the UK.
Wearing a beautiful royal blue Emilia Wickstead midi dress, which was clinched at the waist with a matching belt, Kate looked utterly radiant. And in a beautiful tribute, Kate added a pair of sapphire earrings that once belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
The visit was a poignant one for the royals, who took time to meet guests who had been affected by disasters, including the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy in London, as well as the Westminster Bridge terrorist attack.
The event highlighted the work the National Emergencies Trust is doing. The organization was created in order to effectively respond to national emergencies in an efficient and informed manner.
The trust will work with other charitable organizations in order to generate donations and distribute the funds fairly whenever a national emergency strikes.
William and Kate have been more natural than ever during their recent public appearances — and the proof was clear during their five-day tour of Pakistan — where they attended multiple engagements each day with absolute ease and grace.
In fact, many commented that the tour had been one of Kate and Wills’ most successful yet, with the couple sharing many incredible moments with both locals and those in their entourage.
At one point in the trip, a plane carrying the royals, their personal team and a number of journalists encountered severe turbulence, forcing it to turn back.
Some of the journalists on the flight commended Will, who reportedly came down to their section of the plane to ensure they were alright, as well as adding a comedic joke about flying the plane himself!
That same evening, Kate and Will both ensured that all the people part of the royal entourage — journalists included — were put up in their hotel.
It really does seem like the pair has hit their ultimate stride.
On November 9, the couple attended the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance alongside Meghan Markle and Prince Harry — the first time we’ve seen the Fab Four reunited in a long time!
The following day, Kate and Wills joined Meghan, Harry, Prince Charles, and Camilla for the annual Remembrance Day Service at The Cenotaph.
