When Meghann Fahy and Leo Woodall starred alongside one another in Season 2 of The White Lotus, neither anticipated that they would find love on their picturesque Italian set, but since 2022, this couple has been loved-up and adorable—and we couldn’t be happier for them! Who is Meghann Fahy?
Prior to her White Lotus role, Fahy had been building her television resume for quite some time. In addition to her role on One Life to Live, she was beloved on The Bold Type before hitting the HBO screen in season 2 of The White Lotus. Fahy brought to life the role of Daphne, a mom married to Theo James’ character, who proved to be far more complex than she first led viewers to believe.
“I always saw her as a person,” Fahy told Harper’s Bazaar of her character, who knowingly overlooks her husband’s infidelity, but instead of seeing herself as a victim, uses it to her advantage in her own, complicated way. “And I always saw her as a pretty good person. I mean, I think that the more seriously you take the character, the more easily you can make that character feel [believable]. I think that the way that she presents her sunny disposition is one of her superpowers. It’s how she brings people into her and how she feels in control in social situations.” Since The White Lotus, Fahy could be seen in 2024’s Your Monster and the Netflix hit The Perfect Couple.
Who is Leo Woodall?
Leo Woodall hasn’t been on the acting scene for long, but he’s certainly made his mark on the film and television world. Perhaps you caught him in the 2021 film Cherry or Vampire Academy before his White Lotus debut, where he starred as Jack, a young man staying with his “uncle” at the hotel.
“The only thing that was definitely prominent was I felt like a tiny, tiny little ‘fish’ because there [were] so many big stars in it and people that I’d been watching for years,” Woodall told AwardsWatch of bringing his White Lotus character to life. “So honestly, it was just more of a privilege. And I got to sit across [Jennifer] Coolidge during a scene and just watch her work her magic for a few hours.” After The White Lotus however, Woodall made a splash in Netflix’s One Day and most recently, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy (2025).
How did their ‘White Lotus’ romance begin?
Rumors of romance between these two first started brewing thanks to their social media presence, with Woodall sharing a series of photos of him and his White Lotus co-stars, looking particularly intimate with Fahy. Social media continued to be a hub for rumors of their romance, with Fahy sharing a few cozy flicks of her close to Woodall as well. It was in 2024, however, when their romance was confirmed with a post she shared to Instagram, their backs to the camera and Woodall’s arm around her shoulder. “Who is he?!,” Woodall commented, poking fun at the swirling rumors.
Though they’ve avoided speaking about their relationship publicly, Fahy has made a few telling comments over the course of their relationship. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live! With Andy Cohen, when asked if there was any truth to the rumor that she was dating her co-star, she responded with, “Oh, I don’t kiss and tell, guys!” Though she concluded that they were nothing more than friends, it’s safe to say things have evolved!
