Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Wish Son a Happy Birthday with Throwback Photos

Joaquin Consuelos turned 15 years old on Saturday, February 24, and proud parents Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos celebrated their youngest son’s birthday in the best way possible: with tons of throwback photos, of course. Check out the video above to see the adorable tributes!

“QUIN-CE! Happy 15th Birthday to the newborn baby. I love you so much I’m going to wrestle you to the ground and pin you in three seconds,” Kelly wrote in her caption on Instagram. Watching the kids grow up is difficult for any mother, especially when it’s the youngest. “Happy 15th bday Quino… We love you buddy,” Mark wrote alongside his slideshow of sweet throwbacks.

Joaquin, or “Quino” as his family calls him, is the youngest of three Consuelos kids. Kelly and Mark also share 20-year-old Michael, who is currently in college at New York University, and 16-year-old Lola.

Back in October 2017, Kelly couldn’t help but gush about her baby on an episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan, and she even got a little choked up about all of his achievements. The 47-year-old has been open about her son’s struggles in school due to a dyslexia diagnosis, and she was understandably nervous for him to start freshman year of high school back in the fall. “A lot of you that watch the show know he has dyslexia, so school has always been a very big challenge for us in our household,” Kelly told the audience.

But during a parent-teacher conference, Kelly found out that Joaquin had gotten straight A’s on his report card. She revealed that her son was “laughing so hard at me crying because I think it made him so uncomfortable. I said, ‘I’m so proud of you.'” There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
