Katie Holmes Is the Spitting Image of Her Siblings — Here’s Everything We Know About Them
It seems like fans know everything about Katie Holmes, from who she’s dating to her latest haircut. But what some might not know is that the 38-year-old mom of Suri Cruise is the youngest of five siblings. She has three sisters, Holly, 48, Nancy, 43, Tamera, 49, and a brother, Martin Jr., 47.
The actress has always described herself as a family person, and despite being an A-list celebrity and former wife of Tom Cruise, she still takes as many trips to Toledo, OH as she can to chill with her sisters. Curious to know more about her siblings? Watch the video below to get details about Katie’s sisters and brother.
The Batman Begins star says she relies on her older sisters to give her advice, whether it’s beauty tips or simple guidance. Katie, a self-confessed “tom boy,” said her sisters have even come to her aid in the most awkward of situations. She shared a cute sibling story in 2015 when she revealed that her sisters had to force her to wash her hair as a little girl.
“When I was a little girl—if I could have—I would have gone a year without washing my hair,” she admitted. “I hated it, to the point where my sisters had to pay me to wash my hair.”
The former Mrs. Cruise also revealed to HELLO! back in 2016 that when it came to dating advice, her sisters had her back. When it was time for 17-year-old Katie to go on her first date, her relatives stepped in to make sure she avoided a potentially embarrassing moment.
“My older and wiser sisters told me not to order spaghetti,” she said about her first date. “They said that would be embarrassing because noodles could fly all over the place.”
Hey, there’s nothing wrong with a little sisterly advice!
