Jennifer Hudson Swears By This Drugstore Moisturizer With SPF to Protect Her Face Without Feeling Greasy
Finding a sunscreen that can protect our face from harsh UV rays without clogging our pores or feeling weighed down is not an easy task. However, according to Jennifer Hudson, we can all find the perfect solution at our local drugstores.
The actress and singer recently spoke with InStyle about how particular she is with products she puts on her face. “I don’t like anything too thick on my skin, you know?” she explained. “That’s most important to me and I’m very sensitive. I need to know my skin is breathing. I need to know that if I need to apply makeup [over moisturizer], the combination of the two isn’t going to disturb the other — stuff like that.”
Which is exactly why Hudson loves Olay Regenerist Whip Face Moisturizer with SPF 25 (Buy at Walmart, $27.67). “It allows my skin to breathe,” she said. “I almost feel like I had a facial after using it.” Her makeup artist even credited the product for helping Hudson’s skin bounce back after other products failed her. That’s pretty impressive for a moisturizer you can get for under $30 while picking up a few things from the drugstore!
Hudson went on to say that despite having a career that often requires her to wear a full face of makeup, she feels her best when she goes without it. “I think natural beauty is the most beautiful — I pride myself in that and that’s when I feel most confident. When I can go out and people are like, ‘Oh, your skin looks amazing, you got on makeup?’ Nope!”
There’s no denying Hudson has enviably radiant skin. If using the same moisturizer can give us even a fraction of her fabulous glow, we’ll be thrilled!
