Fran Drescher Has a Clever (and Super Sweet) Hack for Gift Giving
Fran Drescher is one of those celebs that we just can’t help but get a smile on our face every time we think about her. Whether we’re remembering her iconic laugh or a hilarious moment from The Nanny, she’s basically a beacon of joy! Which is why we weren’t too surprised to learn her favorite drugstore buy is a super sweet gesture for her loved ones.
Don’t get us wrong, we can’t get enough of our favorite famous ladies sharing their go-to budget-friendly beauty products, too. But despite being known for her gorgeous (and ageless!) looks, Drescher admits she drifts more to a sentimental section of the store when she pops in to buy a few things.
“I have to say, I love the greeting card aisle,” she tells us. “I stock up on many different themed greeting cards so that I always have a drawer full of beautiful cards for a birthday, anniversary, baby, or whatever.”
On top of the cards, the 63-year-old says she also gathers up presents to have ready for any occasion. “I keep a gift closet in my house so I don’t need to buy a specific one when something comes up. Because more often than not, there is something in there,” Drescher explains. “These are not re-gifting items — these are things I see that I think people in my world will love, so I buy 10 of them!”
As a busy actress, writer, healthcare advocate, and activist, she doesn’t always have room in her schedule for a shopping trip. So, she clearly makes the most of it when she can! Drescher tells us she considers this to be one of her best life hacks. “I like to have things on hand,” she says. “If I have something I can share, this is a great shortcut.”
We can’t argue with that! Be sure to pick up a copy of our latest print magazine (buy on newsstands now or on Magazine Shop, $3.49) to hear more from Drescher.
