World Champion MTB Slopestyle Biker Dawid Godziek Rides His Bike on Top of a Moving Train: Viral Video
Godziek's ride was something out of a James Bond movie, and his skills are going viral
Polish mountain biker Dawid Godziek is once again making headlines for his impressive flips and flies on his bike.
The MTB Slopestyle biker, who was recently named the 2024 Slopestyle World Champion, just teamed up with Red Bull to ride his bike on the top of a moving train. Prada was also a large sponsor of the project and had a full train car with their name painted on it in the video.
“On track to a world’s first @davidgodziek on top of a moving train proving that anything is possible, presented by #PradaLineaRossa,” read the Instagram caption. They also posted another one that said “literally riding on the BIKE EXPRESS ”
The bike company, Abus Cycling, also took to Instagram to write, “From the saddle straight onto the Red Bull Bike Express! @davidgodziek proves on a moving train that no route is too crazy. Simply WOW!”
In the video which has since gone viral, Godziek was seen flipping over a flight of stairs, jumping over a large gap between two train cars and even released his hold on the handlebars once.
People were loving it, too!
“If you can dream it red bull has someone doing it,” read one caption.
“All the physics people are losing their minds trying to figure this out,” read another.
It is still being determined how fast the train was moving or what led Godziek to do the stunt, but he did post four separate videos and pictures of his ride. How he trained for it is still a mystery.

Social media users did notice that something about the video above seemed slightly different from the others.
“Why does it seem like the pov is different from the other videos? Isn’t he supposed to do a front flip before the last platform (stairs)?” one comment read.
This would mean that Godzieck had to complete his train ride multiple times just to get the different shots, although neither the bike ride nor the companies sponsoring the videos have commented on that.
Who is Dawid Godziek?
Godzieck was born on August 10, 2024, in Suszec, Poland. He has competed in several different local, national and international MTB Slopestyle competitions and has won a number of titles.
Some notable ones include the 2018 X Games, the 2022 X Games and the 2024 Red Bull Joyride. Godzieck took first place in all of them.
He was also the first ever rider to perform the 720* Front Flip No Hand to Barspin and the Quad Tailwhip back in 2018.
What is MTB Slopestyle?
MTB Slopestyle is a type of bike riding inspired by dirt riding and BMX racing. The term “slopeside” comes from snowboarding, though, as it was used to represent when riders would perform aerials in the snow during practice or competitions.
MTB Slopestyle is considered an extreme sport because the athletes competing in it must perform their tricks on surfaces like dirt, furniture on the street and even wood structures — which is what Godzieck rode on in the viral train video.
The bike riding competition is an international event, but as of now, it is not a part of The Olympic Games. With additions like Breakdancing, however, you never know what will come to the Games in the near future!
