Daphne Oz Celebrates Philo’s Third Birthday with Sweet New Photo
We’re so excited for Daphne Oz. The 31-year-old’s daughter, Philo, just celebrated her third birthday! Oh, how time flies. It seems like just yesterday we were congratulating Dr. Oz on the birth of his first grandchild. Now Philomena, who’s affectionately known as Philo, is already a big sister.
The Oz family’s house was decked out in gold balloons, garlands of white paper and gold stars, pink cups, and a unicorn cake. The theme of the party was “mermaid-unicorn-fairy tale,” of course. There was face paint and costumes, and, we’re guessing, a lot of happy kiddos.
Philo’s baby brother, Jovan, 1, made an appearance on Daphne’s Instagram, dressed as a not-so-scary dragon. Jovan is named after his father, Daphne’s husband, John Jovanovic. He turns two in October.
Given the sad news recently, it’s good to see Daphne and her family enjoying themselves again. Earlier in February, Daphne revealed that her father-in-law, Sretko Jovanovic, had passed away. Her children had visited their grandfather in the hospital before he died. And even though the family is no doubt still grieving the loss, a birthday party might have been just the thing to raise everyone’s spirits.
A birthday is certainly a big milestone, and we hope to see many, many more for this family!
