Congratulations, Adele! The Singer’s Just Revealed Big Baby News Fans Never Saw Coming

View gallery

That Adele. She’s just shocked the world again, and this time it’s with happy news that nobody could have predicted. It seems the singer–who just recently explained that she probably won’t have anymore kids again after a crippling bout of postpartum depression left her feeling fearful of another pregnancy–is (yup, you guessed it!) expecting again after all.

As she wrapped up the North American leg of her world tour Monday night in Phoenix, AZ, the singer excitedly shared that she was “off to have a baby.”

“Give it up for me – I did it! I’ll see you on the other side. In a couple of years I’ll be back. You won’t be able to get rid of me,” she says as she takes her final bow in front of cheering crowds.

You can faintly hear her shout the happy news in this clip from the show.

Adele is already a mom to son Angelo with her partner, Simon Konecki. And though we’re not sure why she reversed her earlier stance on her decision to not have any more kids, we’re absolutely thrilled for her big news!

After all, if there’s one truth we know about parenthood, it’s that it’s so unpredictable.

Congrats, Adele! We wish you and your family the best.
