When you think of fashion shows, you’re likely imagining statuesque models walking on runways, modeling the newest fashion trends and designs for the world. But some of your favorite celebrities have been able to strut on the catwalk, too, and they looked amazing doing it.

Madonna’s Jean Paul Gaultier runway moment has a furry surprise

You love Madonna for her pop hits like “Material Girl” and “Like a Virgin,” but did you know this iconic pop star can strut on the runway too? Madonna took to the catwalk in 1995 when she joined Paris Fashion Week as a part of the Jean Paul Gaultier Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 1995 show. The singer wore a stunning gold ensemble, the top sequined, falling into a silk slip dress. Madonna was also rolling a traditional English baby “pram” stroller, but revealed there was actually a French poodle inside.

Demi Moore stuns in her acting roles like Ghost (1990), A Few Good Men (1992) and her most recent Golden Globe win, The Substance (2024). But the actress has also wowed while walking in a fashion show. Moore, too, has walked in Paris Fashion Week, although her appearance was in 2021. She walked the runway in Fendi's Spring-Summer 2021 collection during the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Moore wore a midnight blue satin suit with the top being off-the-shoulder with a deep-V neckline and long, dramatic earrings to pair.

Ian McKellen entered the fashion world while walking in the London Fashion Week in 2023. The actor showed off looks from the British fashion label S.S.Daley's Autumn/Winter 2023 collection. McKellen wore a navy peacoat, paired with a silk sailor’s cap and a striped scarf.

Culkin stunned in a Hawaiian-print shirt with a gold and blue colorful bomber jacket, paired with khaki pants and black clogs.

The singer walked in New York Fashion Week for the Marc Jacobs Fall 2016 show. The pop fashion icon wore an oversized gray coat, with big fur sleeves and eccentric high-platform boots. She also carried a small green bag and had rockstar-inspired makeup on.
