Carrie Underwood Has a New Reason to Celebrate
Carrie Underwood may still be taking it easy from performing after her latest tour, but that doesn’t mean the country star doesn’t have tons to celebrate about—especially when it comes to her family. And the biggest celebration-worthy news lately comes from her beloved husband Mike Fisher.
As any Carrie Underwood fan knows, her hubby is one of the star players on the national hockey team Nashville Predators. And earlier this week, his team just earned its first trip ever to the Stanley Cup Finals, after they defeated the Anaheim Ducks in a final score of 6-3. How exciting for him!
Devoted and dedicated wife as she is, Carrie Underwood has been quite the enthusiastic cheerleader during her man’s whirlwind season. Super fans might even remember that she had a pleasant surprise for the audience during one of the Predators’ matchup rounds with the Chicago Blackhawks earlier this season; she graced the viewers and teams with a jaw-dropping rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner and brought the house down.

And her excitement only grew as the playoffs went on. Ahead of this most recent game, she showed up with a group of her “golden girls,” who all proudly wore matching golden jackets to support the Predators, alongside Carrie’s own stunning jacket.
As if her supportive attire wasn’t enough, Carrie also donned a “predicure” on her nails with the colors blue and gold to show even further pride for the team.
Of course, the real excitement happened after Fisher’s team won, though. Carrie took to social media to capture a video of the thrilled crowd’s cheers after the game was over.
“Wow… this crowd is amazing!” she wrote in the caption. “Oh yeah, the team isn’t too bad, either!”
We wish her husband the best of luck moving forward… but clearly, no one can show support better than Carrie. And we love that!
