Carrie Underwood Wakes Up to the Sounds of Sirens
Carrie Underwood is no stranger to natural disasters. The Oklahoma native is used to severe weather like storms and tornadoes. In fact, one of her biggest hit singles was called “Blown Away.”
So when she and her family–hockey star Mike Fisher and their son Isaiah, who just turned 2–woke up this morning in Nashville to the sounds of tornado sirens, the country music star wasn’t rattled. Even when she looked out the window and saw the hail, tree limbs, and the chimney of her house in the driveway, she didn’t blink an eye.
Instead she took to Twitter to let her fans know that it all felt “like home.” Her hashtag? #Okie
