Bon Jovi’s 4 Kids Are All Grown Up! Meet Stephanie, Jesse, Jake and Romeo—Plus What Dad Says About Them

While rock stars tend to have a certain reputation when it comes to romance, there are a good handful who found love in the early days of their career and never strayed from their lovely, long-time ladies. One of our favorite musicians in this category is Jon Bon Jovi, who married his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley, in 1989 at a little chapel in Las Vegas. Though no marriage is perfect, these two have been making it work ever since, and since tying the knot all those years ago, the couple has grown their family to welcome four awesome kids. Here, get to know the Bongiovi clan.
Jake Bongiovi
Though Jake isn’t the oldest of Jon Bon Jovi’s kids, he’s perhaps his most well-known thanks to his high-profile relationship. The 22-year-old son of rock royalty, Jake, began dating Stranger Things shining star Millie Bobby Brown back in 2021 after being connected by a mutual friend. While things started platonic between the two, eventually, they took a turn, and in 2024, the young couple tied the knot—and Jake’s famous dad approves!
“I don’t know if age matters,” he told Andy Cohen on Radio Andy when he inquired about Millie and Jake’s marriage in their early twenties. “If you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice really: growing together is wise. Growing together. I think that all of my kids have found the people that they think they can grow together with and we like ’em all.” He continued, “Millie is wonderful. Her whole family is great, really great. Jake is very, very happy.”
Based on Jake’s Instagram, it looks as though he’s dipping his toes in several different industries, including both modeling and even film, with his bio reading “Actor/Producer/all around cool guy.” In August of 2024, he announced that his very first short film, Action Juice, would be coming soon.
Stephanie Bongiovi
The rocker’s oldest daughter, Stephanie, is 31 years old and was often seen by her dad’s side growing up. In 2012, however, tragedy struck when she overdosed on heroin while studying at college. “I feel it was a terrible tragic lesson of life but I thank God every day because she is whole,” the musician told The Mirror in 2013. “It happened and it has gone. I know personally people whose sons and daughters, where it was a lot, lot worse. That could have been Stephanie.” Stephanie has largely stayed out of the limelight, so not much is known about her personal life since then. However, back in 2024, her dad wrote the song “Kiss the Bride” in honor of her upcoming wedding, though fans aren’t sure of when her nuptials are taking place.
Jesse Bongiovi
Browse the wine aisle lately? You’ve probably come across Jesse Bongiovi’s brand of rosé, Hampton Water, which he launched with his father back in 2018. After playing football and studying Political Science and Business Economics at the University of Notre Dame, Jesse reflected on his summers spent in the Hamptons. “There was this air around the good rosés that I was familiar with…That’s not for us, that’s for Mom and Dad, that’s for company,” he told Dining Out Jersey. So became Hampton Water, an affordable brand that appeals to all demographics.
“I realized it was actually a good idea and a great name,” Bon Jovi told People. “I pride myself on having done a lot of unique marketing things over the years, whether it was the arena football team or the Soul Kitchen restaurant. I don’t do things haphazardly, but Jesse has always been very serious about everything he’s ever done.” In 2024, Jesse got married to his longtime girlfriend.
Romeo Bongiovi
The youngest of this rockin’ crew is 21-year-old Romeo, who largely stays out of the spotlight; however, he can occasionally be seen in photos shared to social media by his famous dad and siblings.
