Keep scrolling to see the sweet pictures and learn more about Bindi’s life today.

Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace is a mini zookeeper

Bindi shared the sweetest photos of 3-year-old Grace feeding a giant tortoise on the ground of the Australia Zoo, and fans simply couldn’t get enough of her joyous expression.

“This is the happiest anyone has ever been to feed a tortoise. Grace’s JOY,” Bindi captioned the post, capturing her little girl reveling in the amazing wildlife opportunity. Grandma Terri Irwin chimed in, writing, “Grace reminds us to truly marvel at the natural world. Her love for her giant tortoise friends is so incredibly special. And they love her right back!”

Fans of Bindi and her beloved late father were additionally vocal in the comments, praising Bindi and her husband, Chandler Powell, for giving their daughter a unique upbringing. “How amazing it must be to grow up in an environment that exposes Grace firsthand to all of these wonderful creatures,” one commenter surmised, while others remembered Bindi’s dad and the legacy he left behind.

“What an enchanted life she gets to have being with these animals everyday,” a fan wrote. “I grew up watching and loving your dad. And now my son has grown up watching you. The world felt his loss. But he lives on in you, and Robert, Terri, and now in little Gracie. It’s really inspiring all you guys do to try and make the world a better place for the animals. Keep up the good work!”

Bindi Irwin’s life as a mom

Bindi has sweetly shared photos of her life as a mom on social media, while also documenting her struggles with endometriosis. Penning a heartfelt confession via social media in March 2023, Bindi revealed that she had struggled for a decade with “insurmountable fatigue, pain and nausea.” She eventually underwent surgery, where doctors found 37 lesions and a chocolate cyst.

“Things may look fine on the outside looking in through the window of someone’s life, however, that is not always the case,” Bindi wrote at the time. “Please be gentle and pause before asking me (or any woman) when we’ll be having more children. After all that my body has gone through, I feel tremendously grateful that we have our gorgeous daughter. She feels like our family’s miracle.”

Bindi’s self-advocacy allowed her to return to a fruitful life at the Australia Zoo, and she continues to share photos of little Grace as she discovers the wildlife around her. The sweet toddler made good friends with a koala in February, with mom Bindi writing, “Grace’s PURE HAPPINESS every time she gets to pat a koala. May we all get to experience this much joy in our lives.” The smile on Grace’s face couldn’t have been wider!

From excursions to the lemur island at the famed zoo to watching Uncle Robert Irwin release gorgeous parrots into the sky, Grace is already living the life of a zookeeper!
