On Easter Sunday 2025, Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley appeared to confirm their relationship by sharing a sweet photo on Instagram, with Cyrus kissing Hurley on the cheek in a grassy field.
“Happy Easter,” the caption read.
The couple appeared in casual outfits, and Cyrus even had on a pair of green bunny ears, furthering the narrative that they had spent the holiday together.
When did Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley first meet?
This marked the first public couple moment between Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley, adding fuel to the growing speculation about their off-screen romance.
But this isn’t the first time the two have been linked — they starred together in the 2022 film Christmas in Paradise, where their chemistry sparked early rumors.
“The opportunity to work with Billy Ray, whom I’ve long been a fan of—my son was the age where he used to watch Hannah Montana all the time, so of course, I used to watch it with him,” Hurley told MovieWeb at the time. “I knew Billy Ray really well from that, and of course, some of his music. That was a big plus.”
A few weeks before their Easter debut, Hurley posted an Instagram video in the Maldives set to Billy Ray Cyrus’s song “She’s Not Crying Anymore,” hinting that their romance may have been blossoming in private.

Before Hurley, Cyrus had been involved with several other women.
First, there was Cindy Smith, whom he married in 1986 before becoming famous. They remained together until 1991.
Following that, Cyrus welcomed a son named Christopher with his ex-girlfriend Kristin Luckey in 1992, before marrying Tish Cyrus in 1993.
After tying the knot, the country music singer adopted her daughter Brandy, before welcoming four other children together, including Trace, pop star Miley Cyrus, Braison and Noah. They remained together until 2022, when they officially divorced.
“It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways—not with sadness, but with love in our hearts,” the pair said in a statement at the time. “We have grown up together, raised a family we can be so proud of, and it is now time to create our own paths.
“We will always be family and look forward to a continued and loving shared experience as friends and parents. We have not come to this decision lightly or quickly but with so much going on in the world, we wanted to provide some clarity and closure, so we can remain focused on what is important.”
The same year, Cyrus got engaged to the mononymous singer Firerose, whom he was married to from 2023 until 2024. Following their split, Firerose accused him of physical, verbal and psychological abuse.
“Wife [Firerose] was subjected to Husband’s [Cyrus] persistent drug use accompanied with the consumption of marijuana, which made Husband unpredictable and volatile towards Wife,” Firerose’s attorneys said at the time. “When Wife would attempt to voice certain concerns, Husband would often call her a ‘selfish f—ing bitch’ and continually alleged that she was using him.”
That was the last relationship Cyrus was in before Hurley.

Unlike her current beau, Hurley has only been married once —to Arun Nayar, whom she wed in 2007 and stayed with until 2011
Before that, the model was involved with Hugh Grant, Denis Leary, Shane Warne and Steve Bing, a businessman and producer with whom she welcomed her son Damian in 2002.
“[Steve Bing] was a good man. He gave to so many good causes,” Hurley told Extra in 2020. “He was a philanthropist at heart, and when we were together, which was a very long time ago, more than 18 years ago, I loved him very much. So I really hope people will retain fond memories of him.”
