Adele Sparks Pregnancy Rumors With Her Latest Photo

Try as she might, Adele can’t escape speculation that she’s pregnant–or trying to become pregnant. The British singer, mom to a son, helped fuel the rumors when she announced at the end of her U.S. tour last year that she was planning to have another baby. But in an interview with Vanity Fair that came out around the same time, the Grammy-winner told the magazine she’d suffered such a terrible case of postpartum depression that she was afraid of having a second child.

No matter. People are searching for clues in every photograph, especially the ones Adele posts on Instagram. This latest is-she-isn’t-she post came during the middle of the singer’s tour of Australia. She seems to be hitting one of her characteristic high-notes in this impromptu rehearsal scene taking place in one of the backstage bathrooms. (Nice to know that Adele likes to sing in the bathroom, too.) But notice where her hand is. Could that be a sign?

Well, maybe, maybe not. She could have been feeling herself breathe as she hit the note as some singers do. Adele herself seemed to squash any pregnancy announcement speculation when she told fans later that evening not to trust anything they read on gossip sites or magazines.
