After Chemo, She Asked Her Makeup Artist Daughter to Work Her Magic, and Now It’s the Makeover Everyone’s Talking About
When it comes to makeovers, we’ve seen some pretty jaw-dropping before-and-afters, but never anything quite like this. Beauty blogger Nadina Ioana decided to give her mom–who had recently undergone chemotherapy–a gorgeous makeover. She posted the video on social media so we can all watch the stunning transformation, and boy, is it a showstopper.
Sadly, Nadina’s mother (whom she calls her “warrior”) lost her hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes during her chemotherapy–something that causes many people with cancer to feel self-conscious. That’s why we especially love the mom’s new look: By the end of the quick video, she looks confident and happy, with a really beautiful, natural-looking glow.

Nadina revealed that because her mother has very sensitive skin, it was important to use a moisturizing cream and dry skin serum before putting on the cosmetics. She also stressed that it’s important to be careful when applying flash eyelashes to someone who has lost their own, as the person’s comfort is so key.

It’s not just the makeup and styled wig we’re loving; it’s also the fact this mom and daughter are spending some good old-fashioned quality time together. That’s the most important part of a healthy cancer recovery, don’t you think?
Rock on, Nadina! We wish your mom continued health and plenty more gorgeous moments.
