For the past three decades, Valerie Nome has covered celebrities for outlets including First for Women, PEOPLE, Us Weekly, Life & Style, In Touch, Closer, OK! Magazine, MTV and USATODAY.com. The Ohio native got her start as a teen reporter for the Cleveland Plain Dealer and Akron Beacon Journal before graduating from Kent State University with a journalism degree.
