Ron Kelly is a writer-editor with 30-plus years in the magazine industry, most recently at Centennial Media, where he served as deputy editor on a broad range of special-interest titles. He’s been managing editor of Ladies’ Home Journal, Family Circle, and the Parents Baby Group, and also worked or written for Closer Weekly, TV Guide, People.com, Tennis, and Sesame Street Parents, among others. Though he grew up and lives in the NYC area, he’s always loved country music: He did a brief stint at TNN and CMT in the ’90s, and deejayed for a few years at a two-stepping nightclub. While not writing or contributing verses for a humorous greeting card company, he’s usually listening to country tunes or Italian music, or watching something with Sophia Loren.
