She may be one of the most inspiring centenarians! Mary Cotter, who turned 103, celebrated her birthday by dressing up as Wonder Woman and volunteering, as she does five days a week, at a senior center in California.
She's been volunteering there for 25 years. Before that, she was saving sea turtles (in her 90s) and giving swimming lessons to kids in her 60s, an age when most people are looking forward to some R&R.
In fact, that is her secret to a long life: keeping busy, she told ABC-7 Eyewitness News. That's why her friends gave her the costume for her birthday: She's a real-life wonder woman.
