Despite all the anti-bullying rallies and messages in schools these days, many kids still get picked on by their classmates for all sorts of reasons, from looking different to just wearing the wrong footwear.
So when a student goes out of his way to do something thoughtful--which is what's going on in this video--we all cheer. The video starts when the boy comes into the classroom with a box and makes a beeline toward his classmate in the blue t-shirt.
"Here you go," the kid says, handing over a pair of Nikes named after basketball player LeBron James. "I gave you a pair of shoes. Since you felt bad yesterday about how everyone was making fun of your shoes, there you go."
You can hear the teacher say off-camera, "That's amazing! Thank you!" before the bullied boy does something utterly heartfelt.
When the video was posted on Facebook, even LeBron James showed his approval on Instagram. "You're going to great places kid for your generosity towards him. True leadership right there! #StriveForGreatness #IPROMISE @ljff"
Yes, it's a grainy video, but so worth watching!
