No one will be able to resist a plate of these wings—they're hot, crispy and finger-lickin' good!
1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp. seasoned salt, like Lawry’s
1⁄2 tsp. smoked ground paprika
1⁄4 tsp. ground chipotle *chili powder *
11⁄2 lbs. chicken wings (6 wings), tips removed, cut into 2 sections
3 Tbs. unsalted** butter,** melted
2 Tbs. *cayenne pepper sauce *
1 Tbs. red wine vinegar
Heat oven to 375°F. In resealable plastic bag, combine first 4 ingredients. Add wings; toss gently to coat. Shake off excess flour mixture. Arrange wings on baking sheet. Bake 40 min., or until thermometer inserted in meat, not touching bone, reads 165°F, turning once.
Heat broiler. In bowl, combine butter, pepper sauce and vinegar. Add wings; toss to coat. Place wings on broiler pan. Broil 2 min., or until crisp.
