Baltimore Police Officer Ashley Acord was on patrol recently when she noticed movement at a supposedly vacant old house.
Concerned that it might be an intruder, she decided to investigate the abandoned property--and what she found living inside took her by COMPLETE surprise.
What she came across was a lonely puppy tied to a doorknob. He wasn't showing signs of aggression and he was pretty well groomed, so Acord brought him to the local animal shelter to make sure he was safe.
But on the way there, she began to develop a bond with the sweet pooch.
