Customer service often gets a bad rap. But one woman got the most amazing response from a customer service rep after she tried to return a coat, and now the story is going viral.
Kelly Blue Kinkel ordered a winter coat from the company Zulily a few weeks ago, and she decided to return it after realizing the coat material wouldn't bode well with the types of dogs she owns. She wrote in Facebook post that when she called the company, a rep named Patrick not only offered to refund her money, but also to do something incredibly selfless with the coat.
Kinkel wrote, "I asked again how to send it back, and he said, 'Please don't send it back. If you know someone who needs a winter coat or if you would like to donate it to a charity, that would make us very happy.'"
At first she thought he was joking, but when she realized he was serious, she started crying in joy. It truly puts the "service" in customer service, doesn't it?
