Pros: A great cardio workout, delivering even more endorphins than CrossFit. When I’m feeling stressed and need to burn off nervous energy, this is my go-to. You’re in control of your exertion level, so if you’re feeling extra fine or less than fine, you can make the necessary adjustments, no matter what the rest of the class is doing. You’ll increase leg strength without assaulting your joints. Spinning tends to cost less than many other classes.

Cons: There’s no upper body component.
Keep or dump: Keep, but I try to supplement with upper body exercises.
