In mid-July, Launi Smith Bowie's mom, Audrey Smith, passed away peacefully but suddenly. To commemorate her life, the family put a celebration of life notice in the Vancouver, British Columbia, newspapers. It was a beautiful tribute to a woman who had gotten the most out of life, her grandchildren, and animals, especially dogs. She was survived by her husband of 51 years, Ted; her kids; her grandchildren; and numerous relatives.

Of course the condolence cards came pouring in. But one in particular shocked Ted Smith and his daughter. It arrived three weeks after his wife's death from realtors who hadn't known Audrey at all. The crowning touch? These women included their business cards.

"On what planet does someone think this is ethical or even remotely acceptable???" wrote Bowie, who posted the card on her Facebook page. Calling the women "two ambulance chasing vultures," Bowie wrote that her dad was left absolutely devastated. She added that she'd be paying the agency a visit to complain to the manager.
In fact, what happened was even better. The post got two thousand shares and is now going viral!
