Savory mushrooms amp up the meaty flavor in these turkey sliders, making them just as juicy and delicious as beef, but with fewer calories! Not a fan of mushrooms? Not a problem! The patties are extra tasty, but the mushrooms are hard to detect.
1 pkg. (20.8 oz.) *ground turkey *
1/2 cup finely minced *mushrooms *
1/2 cup fresh** bread crumbs **
1/4 cup low-fat milk
1 large *egg *
2 tsp. roasted garlic-and-herb seasoning, like McCormick
2 Tbs. chopped fresh cilantro
10 *slider buns *
3 slices American cheese, quartered
Assorted burger toppings and spreads, like bacon, lettuce, ketchup, mustard and/or pickles
1. In bowl, combine turkey, mushrooms, bread crumbs, milk, egg, seasoning and cilantro; shape into 3 Tbs.-portion balls. Chill 1 hr.
2. In large skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray over medium heat, cook meatballs in batches 8 min. or until done, turning once.
3. Arrange meatballs on slider buns with cheese and your favorite burger toppings and spread.
