Sonograms have come a long way since their fuzzy first days. Now we can see babies' every movement in the womb, from thumb-sucking to waving hello. But one Wichita, KS, couple witnessed something during their 20-week ultrasound that took them completely by surprise.
Their half-baked son, Edward James, whom first-time parents Dave and Vanessa Watson will call EJ, moved his tiny fist in such a way that his whole head jerked backwards.
"It was a real shock," the dad-to-be admitted, adding that the nurse had never in her whole career seen anything like it before. "My mother-in-law started crying. She thought he’d really hurt himself."
The baby is reportedly just fine, but we bet mom Vanessa can't wait to console her future boxer!
