Their responses are vague and, above all else, useless in helping you decipher what they want. So, Fager’s Island restaurant in Ocean City, Maryland has decided to help you out.
In the dining establishment’s kid-friendly menu, they have taken some classic picky eater responses and turned them into menu options.
You “don’t know” what you want? Triple layer PB & J for you, Timmy.
You “don’t want” that? Kids fries for you, Sandra.
You’re “not hungry?" Basket of chicken tenders for the lot of you!
The menu, posted on reddit, will make every parent laugh at how relatable it is — after having heard all these phrases at least 27 times.
As one user pointed out, however, Fager’s missed out on the most common word heard by parents daily: a loud and stubborn, “NO!” And in that case, you just go straight for the hot fudge sundae and hope to God it means you can eat in peace for five whole minutes. Ah, a parent can only dream of ordering food for your kid this easily all the time!
