Even kids who love reading are bound to come across a book for class that they don't like. That was the case with this third-grader who isn't opposed to burying his nose in pages...but just isn't thrilled with the particular story he had to read for school.
When this boy's teacher asked the class to write four sentences about the book they're reading, she probably expected plot summaries, character descriptions, and maybe the occasional critique. What she got from one student, though, had his mom and all her Facebook friends cracking up.
This nontraditional book report says:
"I hate the book SO MUCH! My mom read what I had so far and she thinks it's not too interesting. Can you give me some suggestions for books that I'll like? Why can't I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid?"
Well, that was four sentences. We wouldn't be surprised if this teacher rephrases the assignment next time.
