You'd think that the more times a couple makes love per week, the happier they'd be. After all, that's the message we get CONSTANTLY from TV and movies. But you'd be wrong, according to a new study.
Canadian researchers have discovered that married couples who have sex once a week are as content as those making whoopie more often--and their marriages are just as strong.
To arrive at that conclusion, researchers looked at three sets of data involving roughly 26,000 Americans ages 18 to 89, two-thirds of whom were married or in a stable relationship. No matter how they crunched the numbers, once-a-week nookie seemed to hit the sweet spot for all those married and committed partners. And apparently the same number held true for men as it did for women.
So there you have it. If you and your hubby have more fun between the sheets more often, great. But if you don't, you're still okay.
