Those days of toddler meltdowns may be long gone, but what mother ever forgets them? Certainly not the veteran mom that Hannah Young ran into at Trader Joe's recently. The Napa, CA, mom of an 11-month old and a "three-nager" was out of food, so it was off to Trader Joe's.

Toddlers and supermarkets can be a toxic combination--and, sure enough, both kids had tantrums. Young felt like the worst mom, until an older woman walked up and told her, "Don't worry honey, just remember no one is gonna die right now!"
Young's relief was short-lived. When her 3-year-old look like she was going to flip out again, the woman "noticed my impending tears, came back over, and said to my daughter, 'I saw a bunny over there, will you help me find it?!'" Young wrote in a post she shared on California journalist Frank Somerville's Facebook page. (And yes, the stranger asked Young's permission first!)
The woman went on her way, but the game continued. As Young wrote, the stranger could have been judgmental, but instead her sweet and simple gesture made the younger mother's day.
